In the global crossover SUV market, OMODA is like a dark horse that has quickly captured the hearts of many users. OMODA’s innovative and trendy design language is undeniably key to its success. Still, its futuristic, immersive driving experience has unlocked a modern mode of transport for the new generation of young people worldwide.
OMODA recently released its latest monthly overall export sales figures. The data shows that OMODA’s export sales in July were 15,735 units, an increase of 10.73% month-on-month, with cumulative exports from January to July totalling 86,556 units.
On August 1, the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) released the latest safety test results. The OMODA C5 has passed the professional and most rigorous safety evaluation and received the highest rating of five stars. This award is another testimony to the strength of the Euro NCAP five-star certification in December last year, which indicates that OMODA C5 already has the world’s highest safety standards of five-star certification.
We have previously introduced OMODA C5, a cross-style SUV, which will soon meet consumers in the UAE, and its EV model will also meet consumers in the fourth quarter of this year. The JAECOO 7 we introduced today is made by the same car manufacturer as OMODA, and it is an entirely different car they built to meet the needs of different consumers.
OMODA has announced its export sales figures for June, with a total of 14,047 units exported. The cumulative export sales for the first half of 2023 have reached 70,821 vehicles, putting them on track to achieve their annual target of 200,000 overseas sales.
As a global brand, OMODA’s first car, the OMODA C5, has been launched in many countries and regions around the world. In the Middle East, it is currently launched in Kuwait and Qatar and will be launched in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Omoda and Jaecoo recently debuted as independent brands at Auto Shanghai 2023. It was called the Chery Omoda before, but now the parent company has decided to launch it as an independent brand as they are considered to be more luxury. Among the cars unveiled at the event were the Omoda 5 e-QUA, the brand’s first purely electric vehicle, and the Jaecoo 7 and Jaecoo 9.
Omoda and Jaecoo are mainly focused on establishing electric cars. As of now, Omoda and Jaecoo will enter the Saudi Arabian market with petrol versions. However, in the later stages, EV models will also be introduced globally and in the UAE and KSA markets.
