OMODA C5 rated 5-stars by ANCAP, Highlighting its Excellent Safety Quality

On August 1, the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) released the latest safety test results. The OMODA C5 has passed the professional and most rigorous safety evaluation and received the highest rating of five stars. This award is another testimony to the strength of the Euro NCAP five-star certification in December last year, which indicates that OMODA C5 already has the world’s highest safety standards of five-star certification.

Five-star ratings were created three decades ago to give consumers more detailed information about the varying levels of safety of new cars in showrooms.

Crash tests have consistently shown you cannot determine the accurate level of safety of a new car based on the number of airbags alone. Rather it is how the airbags, the body structure, and other safety systems perform during a crash that can impact – or protect – occupants.

The OMODA C5 scored 87% for Adult Occupant Protection, 88% for Child Occupant Protection, 68% for Vulnerable Road User Protection, and 83% for Safety Assist.

The 5-star ANCAP safety rating confirms OMODA C5’s commitment to excellence in automotive safety, ensuring the utmost protection for its customers and other road users. ANCAP, known for its rigorous and independent vehicle safety evaluations, conducted assessments to determine the safety performance of OMODA C5.
